Thanks to the recently added talents to the lab, we have awesome door decorations for the holiday season this year! A visiting undergrad researcher, Amy, is the mastermind behind the decorations. It has been a blessing for me to work with all these outstanding students who are talented, energetic, and creative.

2024 is another great year for the Ye lab. Yitang and Shuang graduated with their PhD in Genetics. I was officially tenured and promoted as an associate professor. We added four more graduate students. Yueqi and Lu officially joined in Janurary 2024. Elijah joined in summer 2024 as a co-advised student. Ke, a first-year grad student, has done her rotation with us and will officially join in 2025 Janurary. Multiple undergraduate students graduated and joined medical schools or PhD programs. There were multiple awards for the students. Lu received the NIH training grant, Huifang received the Lois K. Miller Award, Yueqi received the Mary Erlanger Graduate Fellowship, and so on. We have multiple first-authored manuscript published, and more exciting projects in the pipeline. I am super pround of these achievements from the grad and undergrad students in the lab! Congratulations!
