This May, Briana graduated with a BS in Genetics and Haley graduated with a BS in Biology. Congratulations to both of them on the great achievement in an unprecedented time!

Briana joined the group in Spring 2019 and her thesis project is to identify the genetic basis of blood lipids. She learned bioinformatics skills in the group and analyzed the huge UK Biobank dataset. Her project was driven by her passion in genetic counseling, to which she will continue to pursue.

Haley joined the group in Spring 2019 and her research involved analysis of single-cell RNAseq to understand the cellular basis of inflammation. She will continue to pursue her professional plan to be a pediatrician.
