Nice Summertime 2019

The Ye lab is welcoming several new members in 2019 summer and we are enjoying a nice and productive summer together.

Kyndal graduated in May. Woo-hoo, the first graduate from the lab! We missed having her in the lab. The other three undergrads are away for the summer and will be back in the fall.

We are having an almost all new group as we welcomed several new members: Jingqi Zhou, a postdoc joined in May; Emily Toucet, a SUNFIG student from the University of Puerto Rico, joined in May and will stay with us for two months; and Michael Francis, a new graduate student in Bioinformatics, joined in June.

For the few times that Happy visited the lab, she gradually took over the sofa in the office. Her new daily job in the lab is to monitor the construction progress outside of the window. She took her new responsibility very seriously.
